The 2008-2009 season marks Mary's 10th year with The COT. She has also served as principal horn for the Tar River Orchestra for 15 years and substitutes for the NC Symphony, Virginia Symphony and NC Opera.
Originally from Rocheport, Missouri, Mary currently serves on the staff of East Carolina University's musical department, where she teaches horn, chamber music and aural skills.
Mary received a Bachelor of Music degree from the
University of
Missouri, a Master of Music degree from the
University of
Wisconsin and a Doctor of Music Arts degree from the
University of Illinois.
