Nathan has been performing with The COT for seven years, and has also performed with the Raleigh, Tar River, Fayetteville and Des Moines Symphonies; the Pioneer String Quartet and the Mallarme Chamber Players.

A native of Butler, Pennsylvania, Nathan received his musical training at the Manhattan School of Music, under the tutelage of Nathaniel Rosen. He is a freelance cellist and teaches cello to upcoming musicians.
