Tanya has been performing with The COT since 2004. She has also performed with the Opera Company of North Carolina; the Carolina Ballet; the North Carolina Symphony; New World Symphony; the National Repertory Orchestra; the Britt Festival in Jacksonville, Oregon; the Spoleto Festival; and the Assisi Festival.

A native of Newton, Massachusetts, Tanya received a Bachelor of Music degree and a Master of Music degree from Rice University. She works at Claymakers Center for Ceramic Arts, where she follows another of her true passions, mosaic art.
