The Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle and Cary Concert Singers Perform Sublime Beethoven

Pavane, op. 50. A slow courtly dance, it was first written for piano and then orchestrated for a modest orchestra of strings and woodwinds, including French horns. Today, guest conductor Michael Hamilton led the orchestra in a lush and elegant performance of Fauré’s work. Hamilton, the Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle Gala Live Auction Winner, called on his past experience in the Marine Band and Orchestra assigned to the White House.
